Flipkart Ventures, the investment arm of Flipkart, announced support for AI startups Alive and Keploy on September 28, according to Flipkart. Both companies will receive capital support, strategic mentorship, operational expertise and access to Flipkart's broader ecosystem.
Alive is an AI-powered platform for curated lifestyle experiences and has more than 500 live experiences across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai and Goa. Keploy is a native-AI software testing platform that converts real application traffic into replayable regression tests and digital twin sandboxes.
For students and developers, the announcement shows two practical startup uses of AI: building consumer experiences and helping engineering teams detect regressions in software and AI-generated code. Flipkart said its venture arm has backed more than 20 startups across sectors including AI, consumer internet, fintech and logistics tech.
The startups will work with Flipkart teams and gain access to its ecosystem as they build and scale, according to the company.
